If Home is where the Heart is, then my Home was in Chicago long before I even saw the city for the first time.
Before I knew what Chicago had to offer I was already dedicated to exploring it in its entirety. Not willing to settle for the paradoxically lonely existence in a city that is already home to almost three million people, or to befriend a small group of people that eventually become my only group of friends, I decided to start this blog to discover how one can make Chicago and its diverse residents, Home.
Forget being bored and lonely in such a huge city. Welcome home.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We most certainly do have a subscribe feature that you can find in the right sidebar by simply clicking the subscribe RSS feed.
I’m very sorry to hear about the Tribune layoffs. As you might expect, it has been quite discouraging for me, being a new journalism student and soon-to-be job hunter, to hear about the struggling state of journalism.
We wish you all the best and great success with your new blogzine and will be subscribing as well!
Best,
Dev xx
