THURSDAY:
The beautiful, talented ladies of Vaudezilla present a free Bartop Burleque Show at Blue Bayou Bar & Grill. Located at 3734 N. Southport Ave., the Blue Bayou will charge no cover and have $4 drink specials available to you as you are entertained by bartop singers, dancers and performers.
Vaudezilla gals will start entertaining promptly at 10pm, giving you plenty of time to feast on authentic New Orleans cuisine (mmm, gumbo). Look out for local performers who will join the ladies for the festivities!
The Signature Lounge: Enjoying Chicago from the 96th floor

It’s no secret: I am a sucker for a good drink in a great atmosphere. At the Signature Lounge it’s not about swanky tables or gorgeously modern wall art, it’s the absolutely breathtaking view of Chicago that will make a humdrum cocktail hour into a memorable evening.

Gorgeous view of Chicago at night from The Signature Lounge on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building
You just cannot beat that view!!

Green Mill Cocktail Lounge: What’s in a name?
29/01/2010 in Clubs and Bars | Tags: Alan Gresik, Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra, Chicago, Chicago bartenders, Chicago pinups, Green Mill Cocktail Lounge, Uptown | 4 comments
I once said that Green Mill made Thursdays the new Fridays among my circle of friends because of the amazing atmosphere and great live music from the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra. That was back in April.
Of course, I still love GM and enjoy getting dressed up on Thursdays in a pinup getup and hit the dance floor with guys who will twirl you until you are nauseated (I love swing dancing!).
But it’s because I love Green Mill so much that I feel like I can criticise the heck out of it. That being said, you should go to Green Mill even after reading this scathing review because it is worth your time and the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.
